Scholarship applications now available for Hales Corners Woman's Club
The Hales Corners Woman's Club is accepting scholarship applications until March 31 from qualifying high school seniors and adult women returning to, or presently enrolled in, an accredited school of higher learning.
The club will present two $1,000 scholarships.
All high school seniors attending Whitnall High School their entire senior year or living in the Whitnall School District are eligible to apply. A $1,000 high school scholarship is offered to both girls and boys who are planning to attend an accredited college or university, school of nursing, or technical school.
In addition, one $1,000 scholarship will be offered to an adult woman who resides in the Whitnall School District who is returning to, or presently enrolled in, an accredited school of higher learning.
Application forms are available from the Guidance Office at Whitnall High School, 5000 S. 116th St., Greenfield, and at the Hales Corners Library, 5885 S. 116th St., Hales Corners. Call 414-329-3242 for further information.
The Hales Corners Woman's Club has awarded scholarships since 1962. Scholarships for $1,000 have been awarded every year since 1966, and two or more scholarships have been awarded annually since 1971.
