Hair and Body Solutions and Aurora "Think Pink" for Breast Cancer Awareness

Dawn Panfil, owner of Hair and Body Solutions salon and spa has announced she will partner with Aurora Health Care for the second year, to support their breast cancer awareness fundraiser with a kick off party this Friday September 25th.

 

Hair and Body Solutions will be selling “Think Pink” hair extensions at their open house this Friday September 25th 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. to raise money for breast cancer awareness. The “Think Pink” hair extensions are $15.00 per extension. All attendees will also receive free Redken products and will be entered in a drawing to win a $100 hair and body solutions salon & spa gift card.

 

Dawn Panfil said, “with the Susan G. Komen “Run for the Cure” happening on Sunday September 27th at Milwaukee’s Lakefront we wanted to participants to be able to wear their “Think Pink” hair extensions for the event and show their true colors! We will offer our “Think Pink” hair extensions through the month of October, which is breast cancer awareness month, with all proceeds benefitting Aurora Breast Health funds supporting education, prevention and survivorship here in our community.”

 

This event was a huge hit last year raising nearly $11,000! Dawn said, “our goal is to increase our awareness to $50,000 this year!” “We are supporting this Cause because we know the money will raise will save lives! We have always believed in supporting the communities that support us. We have the means to make a difference and we are!

Hair and Body Solutions “Think Pink” campaign for Breast Cancer “Extends Awareness” the entire month of October by providing little pink hair in a BIG WAY. This year not only will Hair & Body Solutions be doing Pink Hair, but they have recruited Salon CTI in Appleton, The Salon Professional Academy Redken school in Appleton, Urban Trends Salon & Spa in Sturtevant and WCTC to extend breast cancer awareness in eastern Wisconsin from Green Bay to the state line.

 

Together they will all provide pink hair in local high schools and colleges in addition to working with Panera Bread & Café and 6 of their dedicated Charity Nights. Panera will be donating .25 for each Pink Ribbon Bagel sold to Aurora’s Breast Health Fund.

Pink Hair Extensions are available at scheduled events: Panera Bread Charity Nights, WCTC, UWM, Marquette U, New Berlin Eisenhower, New Berlin West, Muskego High, Whitnall High, Racine High and schools in Appleton area.

 

Hair and Body Solutions is a full service salon and day spa with services for men and women. Owned and operated by Dawn Panfil, a breast cancer survivor, wants to inspire and serve others as she moves forward in her life with an even greater sense of purpose as a Breast Cancer Crusader.
