Winterfest at Boerner Gardens

The Friends of Boerner Botanical Gardens (FBBG), 9400 Boerner Drive, invite young and old alike to Winterfest, a celebration of winter at Boerner Botanical Gardens on Sunday, January 26, 2014 from 10am to 2pm. Winterfest will also kick off a big anniversary year at Boerner – the gardens are turning 75 and FBBG is turning 30.

Schedule of Events

·Winter stories told by storyteller Kristia Wildflower for children of all ages

·Fun, hands-on, winter-themed crafts & activities for children (designed for children ages 4 through 12)

·Food and concessions available for purchase from Boerner’s new caterer, Zilli Hospitality Group

·Sample and purchase freshly-made kettle corn from Sweet Delight Kettle Corn

·Chase the winter blues away on a Winter Woods Walk, led by Mike Kreuser of the Green Team at 11:00am or 1:00pm (Suggested donation of $5 per walk participant)
