BURGLARY

1A bottle containing $7 in quarters and a prescription bottle containing 45 hydrocodone pills were reported stolen from an apartment in the 10000 block of West Forest Home Avenue at 10:10 am. Sept. 14. The victim stated the burglary took place between Sept. 5 and the morning of Sept. 6.

THEFT

2A woman's purse was stolen from a vehicle at 104th Street and Scharles Avenue prior to 3 p.m. Sept. 11. The purse was found in the roadway by a Department of Public Works employee, who turned it over to police. Police have a suspect and are investigating.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

3A 23-year-old Franklin man was arrested for drunken driving after he struck another vehicle on 108th Street just north of Grange Avenue at 6:20 p.m. Sept. 11. The Franklin man was speeding north on Highway 100 when he deviated from his lane and struck another northbound vehicle, causing it to spin around three times before coming to rest. Blood was drawn to determine his blood-alcohol content.

VANDALISM

4A drinking fountain was damaged at Whitnall Park, 5879 S. 92nd St., prior to 5 p.m. Sept. 12.

OTHER

5A 26-year-old Muskego man was arrested for disorderly conduct after a caller reported he was doing "doughnuts" with his car in the rear parking lot at Pick 'n Save, 5800 S. 108th St., at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 15. In addition, he was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after an officer found a used syringe under the driver-side floor mat.

6A resident in the 12100 block of Parkview Lane reported someone dropped furniture off in her driveway with a note saying, "Free, now it's your problem," prior to 2:15 p.m. Sept. 16.

Hales Corners police assisted with three rescue calls between Sept. 10 and Sept. 16.
