BURGLARY

1Police are investigating a burglary at a home in the 10100 block of West Forest Home Avenue that occurred before 7 p.m. Oct. 6.

THEFT

2A woman's purse was stolen from a locked vehicle in the parking lot at Xperience Fitness, 5321 S. 108th St., before 10:30 a.m. Oct. 4. A window was broken to gain access.

3A laptop computer was stolen from an apartment in the 10100 block of West Forest Home Avenue before 12:40 p.m. Oct. 5.

4A man took a bag full of items from Kmart, 5600 S. 108th St., just before 9:30 a.m. Oct. 6.

VANDALISM

5A birdfeeder was damaged in the 5700 block of South 112th Street during the early morning hours of Oct. 2. A small live trap was stolen from the same yard about a week ago. A special watch was requested at the residence.

OTHER

6A resident in the 11900 block of Indian Trail called police at 10 p.m. Oct. 4 after a woman he hired to give him a massage fled with his money prior to providing the service. The man was advised about crimes that occur during illegal activities.

7A resident called police at 8:55 a.m. Oct. 6 to report that a man was sucking on a cucumber or sexual device near the playground at a Whitnall Park picnic area, 9400 Boerner Drive. An officer was unable to find the man.

FIRE CALLS

8Police officers and firefighters responded to a vehicle fire in the 9600 block of West Grange Avenue at 4:19 p.m. Oct. 2. The fire apparently was caused by a mechanical failure and the driver was unhurt. Damage estimates were not available.

Hales Corners police assisted with three rescue calls between Oct. 1 and Oct. 7.
