THEFT
1A purse was stolen from a woman's shopping cart at Pick 'n Save, 5800 S. 108th St., prior to 4 p.m. Dec. 10.
VANDALISM
2A resident of the 9300 block of West Grange Avenue reported that someone broke her mailbox post in half between 3 p.m. Dec. 13 and 10:15 a.m. Dec. 14. Damage is estimated at $100.
OTHER
3A 47-year-old Hales Corners man was arrested for disorderly conduct for yelling at his apartment manager and causing a disturbance in the 10600 block of Grange Court at 12:15 a.m. Dec. 13. The man also was taken into custody for a probation violation and taken to the county jail.
4A resident reported seeing a cougar in the 11000 block of West Forest Home Avenue shortly after 10 p.m. Dec. 13.
5A resident in the 11900 block of Parkview Lane called police after an unidentified male wearing a black hoodie pointed a flashlight into his daughter's window shortly after 6 p.m. Dec. 14. The person ran off after being confronted by the resident. Police checked the area but were unable to find a suspect.
Hales Corners police responded to one domestic violence call and assisted with three rescue calls between Dec. 10 and Dec. 16.
