Hales Corners Police Report: Aug. 28, 2014 issue

Aug. 26, 2014

Burglary

· A PS4 gaming system and a Galaxy tablet were reported stolen from an apartment in the 10300 block of West Plum Tree Circle at 11:35 p.m. Aug. 21. The suspect(s) entered the apartment through an unlocked, second-floor balcony door when the victim wasn't home.

Theft

· A basket filled with an undisclosed amount of merchandise was stolen from Walgreens, 5860 S. 108th St., at about 9:30 p.m. Aug. 21.

· A smartphone and cash were stolen from a purse during a house party at a residence in the 10300 block of West Forest Home Avenue sometime between 9:30 and 11:30 p.m. Aug. 22.

· An unidentified male was seen concealing mini Bluetooth speakers just before walking out of the store at Walgreens, 5860 S. 108th St., at about 11:40 a.m. Aug. 24.

Assault

· A 32-year-old Hales Corners man was arrested for battery and a 53-year-old Franklin man was arrested for disorderly conduct after they physically assaulted a man at a residence in the 5700 block of South New Berlin Road at about 10:05 p.m. Aug. 20

Drunken driving

· A 60-year-old Appleton man was arrested for third-offense drunken driving after he ran a red light on South 108th Street and West Janesville Road, struck another vehicle and then fled the scene at about 12:15 a.m. Aug. 24. He was also arrested for hit-and-run causing injury.

· Hales Corners police responded to two domestic violence calls and assisted with four rescue calls between Aug. 18 and Aug. 24.
