July 22, 2014

Theft

1 A 48-year-old Hales Corners man was arrested for theft and resisting arrest after he stole a set of keys to a business and then resisted officers who attempted to take him into custody at Marathon Gas, 5511 S. 108th St., at about 9:15 p.m. July 14.

2 An iPad was stolen at Xperience Fitness, 5321 S. 108th St., at about 8:05 p.m. July 15.

Drug possession

3 A 22-year-old Oconomowoc man was arrested for possession of marijuana at about 6:15 p.m. on July 15 at South Donna Court and West Conrad Street while an officer was investigating a suspicious, occupied vehicle.

Drunken driving

4 A 43-year-old Oconomowoc woman was arrested for drunken driving on South 108th Street and West Rockne Avenue at about 11:05 p.m. July 19. A chemical breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.12.

5 A 25-year-old Franklin man was arrested for drunken driving on South 108th and West Edgerton Avenue at about 2:40 a.m. July 20. A chemical breath test indicated a BAC of 0.17.

Other

6 A caller in the 5200 block of South Froemming Drive reported seeing a round orb in the sky with flames on it heading toward Highway 100 at about 9:45 p.m. July 18.

7 A 28-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct and a probation/parole violation at Plum Tree Apartments, 10400 W. Plum Tree Circle, at about 12:35 p.m. July 20 after police responded to a report of animal abuse. According to police, the caller saw the suspect strike his dog in the head after the dog ran away from him.

8 A caller reported a resident in the 11100 block of West Janesville Road was screaming into his karaoke machine at about 7:35 p.m. July 20. Police made contact with the man, who agreed to keep his music at a reasonable level.

· Hales Corners police assisted the fire department with five rescue calls between July 14 and July 20.
