Police Report: Dec. 30

1A red tote containing five or six DVDs, some sewing magazines, quilt fabric, quilting rulers and some patterns was stolen out of a locked Chevy van at Dunkin Donuts, 5480 S. 108th St., between 12:15 and 12:30 p.m. Dec. 27. The passenger-side sliding door window of the van was broken to gain entry.

2A black case containing a laptop computer was stolen out of a locked vehicle in the 9900 block of West Forest Home Avenue between 2:30 and 3:37 p.m. Dec. 27. The driver-side rear passenger window was smashed to gain entry. Damage to the vehicle is estimated at $275.


3A 27-year-old Franklin man was arrested for drunken driving at 108th Street and Kelm Road at 2:30 a.m. Dec. 24. His blood-alcohol content was 0.19.

· Hales Corners police assisted with three rescue calls between Dec. 23 and Dec. 29.
