BURGLARY

1Two rings were stolen from a home in the 5600 block of South Denis Court at 3 p.m. Aug. 25. The victim told police she first noticed the rings missing on Aug. 21. There was no forced entry on the residence; nothing else was missing.

THEFT

2A manager reported three packages of checks were ordered and printed for fraudulent accounts at Tri City Bank, 5555 S. 108th St., at 2:10 p.m. Aug. 20.

3An 18-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for shoplifting candy, bakery items and a bottle of juice at BP-Hales Corners Amoco, 5100 S. 108th St., at 9:25 p.m. Aug. 23.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

4A 24-year-old Kansas man was arrested for drunken driving at 108th Street and Kelm Road shortly before 2 a.m. Aug. 26. His blood-alcohol content was unavailable.

ACCIDENTS

5A 36-year-old Waukesha man was taken to West Allis Memorial Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries after his car was rear-ended on Highway 100 at Janesville Road at 7:40 a.m. Aug. 21. The driver of the striking vehicle, a 21-year-old Wauwatosa man, was cited for following too closely. He was also injured and taken to West Allis Memorial.

OTHER

6A 23-year-old New Berlin man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and felony bail-jumping during a traffic stop in the 5600 block of South New Berlin Road at 11:30 p.m. Aug. 21.

Hales Corners police assisted with two rescue calls between Aug. 20 and Aug. 26.
