Melissa Lynn Vodvarka of Oak Creek and Edward W. Hunter of De Forest are planning a Sept. 4, 2010, wedding at St. Matthew Parish in Oak Creek.
Parents of the engaged couple are Edward and Darlene Vodvarka of Oak Creek and Elgin and Mary Hunter of De Forest.
The bride-to-be earned her bachelor's degree from Winona State University in Winona, Minn. She will be attending graduate school for physical therapy in the fall.
The future groom is a Marine Reservist and is continuing his education at Madison Area Technical College in computer science.
The couple became engaged Oct. 3, 2009, during the Winona State Homecoming Parade.
