Lakefront Fireworks at Veteran's Park
US Bank Fireworks are scheduled to occur on Saturday, July 3 at Veterans Park, 1010 N. Lincoln Memorial Drive, beginning at 9:30pm. The firework's display will last about one hour. Veteran’s Park Special Event Parking Operations will begin on July 3 at 6am. (There will be no overnight parking in Veteran’s Park on July 2). Parking fees for cars will be $20, cars with trailers $60, RV parking $60 and RVs with trailers $80. A free Kite Festival will take place in the afternoon during the 3rd at Veteran’s Park, as well. Other 4th of July Celebrations will take place on Monday, the 5th of July at Alcott, Gordon, Humboldt, Jackson, Dr. Martin Luther King Center, Lake, Lincoln, McGovern, Mitchell, Sherman, Washington, and Wilson Park. For the latest updates go to www.mkedcd.org/july4th
