This Just In ...

Kevin Fischer is a veteran broadcaster, the recipient of over 150 major journalism awards from the Milwaukee Press Club, the Wisconsin Associated Press, the Northwest Broadcast News Association, the Wisconsin Bar Association, and others. He has been seen and heard on Milwaukee TV and radio stations for over three decades. A longtime aide to state Senate Republicans in the Wisconsin Legislature, Kevin can be seen offering his views on the news on the public affairs program, "InterCHANGE," on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10, and heard filling in on Newstalk 1130 WISN. He lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their lovely baby daughter, Kyla Audrey, in Franklin.

Distillery Tours
In Milwaukee for Summerfest? The distillery is located 2 miles from the festival grounds, stop in before the Big Gig and check us out!



We are now open Monday through Saturday from Noon to 6PM. With tour times daily at 2 and 4PM, and an additional tour at 6PM on Fridays.

Tours typically last 45 minutes and are free. A tasting flight of our products is $3.
 
Groups of eight or more and service industry member tours can be scheduled for any day of the week. Call to reserve a private tour 414-431-8683.

We're pleased to say our Roaring Dan Rum has been a huge hit! We had a shortage after our initial release, but are shipping more today. It can currently be found in SE WI. Other areas soon.


 
 
Ray's Wine & Spirits Tasting
Wednesday June 30th
Ray's Wine & Spirits will be featuring a Craft Spirits Classic Cocktail Seminar in their new tasting room!

The event is Wednesday June 30th and starts at 6:30pm in Ray's Tasting Room and Education Center. A limited number of seats are available.

Special pricing for the spirits tasted and used in the cocktails will be offered that day for event attendees.

Great Lakes Distillery's own Mixologist Jason Neu will show you how to create some of his favorite classic cocktails. Distillery founder Guy Rehorst will also be on hand sharing samples of our award winning spirits. Also be the first to try a potential future Great Lakes product that will exclusively be available to try at this event only!

Rays is located at 8930 W. North Avenue Wauwatosa, WI

Your cost only $15 per person. Tickets may be ordered online from Ray's Tasting room page. Seating is limited!


 
 
Cocktail of the Month

This month it's the Milwaukee Mai Tai- our twist on Trader Vic's classic from 1944. Our Roaring Dan's Rum has maple syrup and it just goes so well with this drink. Give it a try today!

Milwaukee Mai Tai

2 oz Roaring Dan's Rum
1/2 oz Cointreau
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
1/2 oz Orgeat syrup
 
 
Shake with ice and strain over crushed ice. Garnish with lime zest.
