Edgerton Students to Spread Anti-Bullying Message in ‘No Bully Zone’ Concert

Edgerton Elementary School, Whitnall School District

Edgerton Elementary School fourth-graders will present their original concert No Bully Zone at 7:30 p.m. March 27, in the upper gymnasium at Edgerton Elementary, 5145 S. 116th St.

The concert will feature skits and meaningful storylines written by Edgerton’s fourth-grade students as a way to help younger students in the school become even more aware of how to overcome bullying.

The concert’s song selections are also meaningful; they have been choreographed by classmates in their grade. The concert was designed to support the Edgerton PTO's efforts of making students further aware that bullying is never OK and what can be done about it.

“Our students put on several special concerts each year, but because of its originality and powerful and timely messages, No Bully Zone will be unique,” said Barb McDonald, Edgerton music specialist and concert director. “We’re very excited to showcase our students’ originality, especially as it relates to such an important topic such as bullying.”

Whitnall’s elementary school concerts are open to family members only because of space constraints.
