Franklin Police Chief Rick Oliva this week sent a letter to Franklin residents notifying that a released sex offender is now residing in Franklin. When Jeffrey Jensen was convicted of his crime (Use of a Computer to Facilitate a Child Sex Crime), he was living in Franklin. Under the law he is allowed to return here and is living at 6600 S. 51st Street.
Oliva’s letter states, in part:
"Jeffrey Jensen is not currently wanted by the police for any criminal offense. He is under supervision by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and will be until March 26, 2025. As such, he must conform to all rules and regulations as imposed by his Probation agent.
"While Jensen is allowed to live in Franklin, he still must conform to City Ordinance which prohibits him from being present in Child Safety Zones."
