Jennifer is a one in a million stay-at-home mom. (More like one OF a million stay at home moms!) She graduated from a liberal arts college but there is nothing liberal OR artsy about her. She is married to Kevin Fischer of This Just In, and together they have a beautiful toddler daughter Kyla Audrey. In no particular order she loves dogs, wine, a good bargain, her family, pizza, and entertaining. I'm not a parrot head, but...
I’m not the world’s biggest Buffett Fan but he’s the only one I know who musically acknowledges the big Four-Oh. So click below while you read the rest of my blog:
If I’m supposed to do some amazingly philosophical, introspective blog today forget it. First of all, I’m forty. I’m not OHE HUNDRED and forty. It’s a milestone for sure, one that I celebrated with close friends and family over the weekend. But I refuse to get too “deep” just cuz I added a zero to my age.
I’m an extremely fortunate woman. I have a great life with no regrets. I suffered the usual teenage “angst” and flew through college with nothing but fun, good memories. I can’t believe it’s already been 14 years since I met the man of my dreams. Kyla and I will share a starting digit for birthdays this year, and then never again. Time does fly when you’re having fun.
I guess I would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in my life (past and present) who have helped shape the person that I am, for what that’s worth. I have the ones I love close to me and that is all I could ever ask for. Admittedly I haven’t made a huge impact on the world… yet. I figure my contribution to mankind won’t be anything specific I did, but what my daughter will do. My legacy will speak for itself.
I’ve had a fabulous birthday weekend and look forward to celebrating my next one… in ten years. ;-)
Oh, by the way… Coincidence? I think not.
