This Just In ...

Kevin Fischer is a veteran broadcaster, the recipient of over 150 major journalism awards from the Milwaukee Press Club, the Wisconsin Associated Press, the Northwest Broadcast News Association, the Wisconsin Bar Association, and others. He has been seen and heard on Milwaukee TV and radio stations for over three decades. A longtime aide to state Senate Republicans in the Wisconsin Legislature, Kevin can be seen offering his views on the news on the public affairs program, "InterCHANGE," on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10, and heard filling in on Newstalk 1130 WISN. He lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their lovely baby daughter, Kyla Audrey, in Franklin.

Distillery Tours

Great Lakes Distillery is open for tours and tastings! Come try our products and learn how we make them.

Tasting room hours are;

Mon-Thurs 11am to 10PM.

Friday & Saturday 11AM to Midnight

Sun 11am to 8PM

New Tour Times!

Tours are at 1,3 & 5PM Sunday through Thursday. 1,3,5 & 6 on Fridays. Saturday tours at 1, 2, 3 & 4.

	Enjoy our Spirits at the Wisconsin State Fair!
I love the State Fair. Why? Because they get it- It's about local and it's about Wisconsin. It's also the ONLY fair or festival that you can get a GREAT cocktail made with our locally made, award winning craft spirits. This year "Hooch's Backwoods Bar" will have two locations in the Expo center. More Fair info here!

	Kinnickinnic Whiskey wins Gold!
We are proud to tell you that Kinnickinnic Whiskey has won Gold Medals at two blind tastings this year. First it was the Denver International Spirit Competition and then again at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. You'll find it at retailers, bars and restaurants. Learn More Here

	Spirit Dinner
August 24th Flemings Prime Steakhouse in Brookfield will be holding a Spirits dinner featuring Great Lakes Distillery products. All the fun starts at 6PM, our very own Jason Neu will be guest speaker. $79.95 per guest. Call for reservations 262-782-9463

Drink of the Month

Evening Stroll

Concocted by our tasting room manager Valerie, this is very a refreshing cocktail!

2oz Rehorst Gin
1oz fresh Lime Juice
1oz Elderflower Liqueur
3 drops of Bittercube Jamaica #2 bitters
Ginger Beer

Combine Gin, Lime juice, Liqueur in a shaker, strain into an ice filled glass. Add bitters and a splash of Ginger Beer. garnish with citrus rind and a cherry. Enjoy!
