Great news -- former Lt. Governor Margaret Farrow just endorsed Tommy in the race for U.S. Senate!

Conservatives in Wisconsin are rallying around our best opportunity to defeat Tammy Baldwin...Tommy Thompson. Margaret knows we need someone who is tested, trusted and a proven statewide winner, and that's Tommy.

Tommy could always count on Margaret's leadership in the legislature, and once again she's stepped up to support the conservative candidate that has the best chance to be our majority-winning 51st U.S. Senator.

Former Lt. Governor Margaret Farrow

Endorses Tommy Thompson

Conservative Stateswoman Cites Past Record, Comprehensive Plan in Endorsing

(Madison, WI...) Former Lt. Governor and State Senator Margaret Farrow has endorsed U.S. Senate Candidate Tommy Thompson, praising his record in the state and pointing to his comprehensive conservative plan to restore America.

"Tommy is a trusted winner, repeatedly proving he can overcome the obstacles of obstructionism and drive a conservative agenda. Excuse-filled Washington DC won't stand a chance," said Margaret Farrow, an unrelenting and well-respected conservative force. "Tommy's record has no equal. He cut taxes 91 times, slashed $287 million in spending and created 750,000 new jobs - achievements even more impressive considering that Democrats controlled the legislature during most of his tenure."

Farrow served in the legislature from 1986 through 2001, first as a member of the State Assembly and later as a state senator. The start of her legislative career coincided with Tommy winning the Governor's race. Later, Farrow filled the open Lt. Governor position when Tommy departed midterm to serve as President George W. Bush's Secretary of Health and Human Services.

"I could always count on Margaret as a strong conservative voice in the legislature," Thompson said. "She helped me deliver property tax relief while reforming welfare and introducing school choice. It's an honor to have earned her support in my bid for U.S. Senate."

"Wisconsin can't take a chance on a candidate against liberal Madison Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin. Tommy is tested, trusted and a proven statewide winner and the only candidate that can defeat her," said Farrow. "With the negative attacks already beginning, I will aggressively defend attempts to distort Tommy's record. These negative attacks only weaken our chances of a Republican gaining this critical seat in November, and achieving a full repeal of Obamacare."
