There's a classic Johnny Cash song that best-describes the Tommy for U.S. Senate campaign over the past week, "I've Been Everywhere."  Please feel free to sing along:

I've been everywhere, man,

I've been everywhere, man.

Crossed the (Wisconsin) desert's bare, man.

I've breathed the mountain air, man.

Of travel I've had my share, man.

I've been everywhere.

I've been to:

Mequon, Grafton, Oconomowoc, Hartland, Kenosha, Portage, Manawa, Cambridge, Watertown, Madison, Hudson, Sturgeon Bay, Evansville, Columbus, Brodhead, DeForest, Tomah, Mineral Point, Monroe, Watertown, Brookfield, Oak Creek, Franklin, Greenfield, Pewaukee, Oshkosh, Bayside, Fox Point, Wauwatosa, Delafield, Cedarburg, Waupaca, Townsend, Rock County, Whitewater, Witwen, Sheboygan, Campbellsport, Tomahawk, Egg Harbor, Bonduel, Gillett, Germantown, Milton, New Berlin, Brown Deer, Hartford, Delavan, Shorewood, Waterford, Union Grove, Somers, Pardeeville, Stone Bank, Whitefish Bay and Me-nom-onee Falls.

Yes, we've been everywhere, and covering 56 parades was an impressive effort involving over 150 volunteers - in as close to triple digit temperature, desert-like conditions as you'll find across Wisconsin. A special thanks to all of those for their sweat and effort.

What is the motivation? Let's start with Tommy, who has walked in 9 parades - 30 miles of parades this past weekend and on the 4th of July. While a volunteer or two may have near-withered along the way, Tommy kept pushing ahead.

Along the parade routes, people asked, "Why are you doing this Tommy?"

The answer is simple: 51. Tommy is fighting to be the 51st vote in the U.S. Senate to repeal Obamacare - and the Road to Repeal runs through Wisconsin.

  • A repeal of the lack of choice;
  • A repeal of the 22 new taxes;
  • A repeal of the heavy cost burden on small businesses; and
  • A repeal of government takeover of our health care system.

We covered 56 parades because the state needs to know what our GOP rivals and the presumptive Democrat opponent liberal Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin know - we can win with Tommy.

With 40 days until the August 14th primary, join Tommy on the Road to Repeal as it runs through Wisconsin by clicking here to volunteer.

Sincerely,

John Martin

Political Director
