It was bound to happen. People have been asking me for the longest time.
When are you going to do it? When? When? When???
I finally broke down and the Fischer household has a new addition: a soft-coated
Why now? Because I’ve always wanted a dog and I’ve been doing a lot of research about breeds and timing of the purchase, especially when you have a toddler.
In the end, I think I was swayed by the immortal words of the famous pet author, Edgar Vetman who said, “Every home should have a dog, period. It would be un-American not to have a dog, or any other pet for that matter, when there are children. They want and need pets. If you have any doubt, get a pet. You’ll be glad you did.”
After I read that powerfully persuasive stuff, I gotta tell you, I was sold.
Jennifer wanted to hold off a bit longer until Kyla was older. I was insisting we get a dog and get one soon. Finally, I just took the puppy by the paws.
We’re so overjoyed and want to share our happiness that we’re thinking of having a “Come Meet Frisky”
Dogs. They’re so neat.
